Step 3All files are compressed up to 50 % of their original size to make more efficient use of bandwidth and storage space |

Step 4Files are encrypted with 448 bit Blowfish to ensure that they are safe during transit and storage on the backup server. The encryption key is never passed in plain text to the backup server, nor is it used in the authentication process. |
